Craig P. Kvale is an attorney who has practiced law in the State of Ohio for approximately 20 years before both the state and federal courts and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. His main areas of practice are commercial, business litigation, and family law.

Craig has prevailed before juries in both state and federal courts. With expertise in complex business and tort litigation addressing a diverse array of personal and business disputes, Craig’s practice focuses largely on resolution of matters for small and middle-market companies and the non-litigation or out-of-state law firms which represent them.

In addition to his business litigation practice, Craig also handles a wide variety of family law matters with an emphasis on handling them with a streamlined and dignified approach. He is past President (2006) of the Center for Principled Family Advocacy and has advanced training in Collaborative Law dispute resolution. He is a founding member of the Cleveland Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a not-for-profit organization which strives to assist clients in reaching mutually beneficial solutions to their family law dilemmas using the widely acclaimed Collaborative Law dispute resolution model.

Craig was admitted to the Ohio bar in 1991; the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Ohio, in 1992; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit, in 1995; and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, in 1996. Craig received his undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University and was graduated from Capital University Law School in 1991.
